Participation of the Executive Secretary of OLADE, Andrés Rebolledo, in the Latam Future Energy Southern Cone Renewable Summit.

The Executive Secretary of the Latin American Energy Organization OLADE, Andrés Rebolledo, participated in the Latam Future Energy Southern Cone Renewable Summit, an event that took place in Santiago, Chile, on November 28 and 29. This summit brought together prominent personalities from the field of renewable energies linked to the Southern Cone.

This meeting has established itself as an essential platform for renewable energy leaders, experts and professionals, providing an enabling space to discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding the renewable energy industry, as well as facilitating exclusive networking spaces.

The Executive Secretary participated in a conversation focused on boosting the energy transition in the Southern Cone, addressing issues such as opportunities, outstanding projects and vision for the future. During his lecture, he highlighted the regional initiative “that mobilizes decisive actions to advance in renewability, such as RELAC”, which establishes as a goal that Latin America and the Caribbean reach 73% of renewable energy by 2030 in the area of electric generation. In addition, he noted the ambitious joint goal of achieving 36% renewability in the primary energy matrix.

Rebolledo stressed: “Those countries that have managed to approach energy policy as a state policy are the most successful in the growing incorporation of renewable energies.”
