Olade and the Central University of Ecuador sign an agreement for the implementation of research programs and dissemination of experiences in energy matters

The Latin American Energy Organization (Olade) and the Central University of the Republic of Ecuador signed an Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement, through its highest authorities, the Executive Secretary of Olade Alfonso Blanco, and the rector of the University, Fernando Sempértegui.

This alliance aims to establish actions and mechanisms of joint collaboration for the development of training activities and tools, as well as the exchange of information and knowledge, including the realization of activities in academic matters, focused on the development and implementation of research programs and dissemination of experiences with emphasis on energy.

The Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement focuses on the following areas as a priority:
a.       Energy integration and cooperation
b.       Development of renewable energy sources
c.       Hydrocarbons
d.       Electricity
e.       Mineral carbon
f.        Nuclear energy
g.       Energy and Environment
h.       Energy planning
i.         Energy policies
j.         Regulatory framework
k.       Energy efficiency
