DTO 2018/005 Aplicación de la herramienta de verificación Check List RSC. Principales reflexiones y aprendizajes.

Recognizing the importance of promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) in companies and projects in the energy sector, as a sustainable strategy for managing their risks and impacts, OLADE implemented the Regional Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR), with which It was proposed to provide governments, civil society and the private sector in Latin America and the Caribbean with a broad understanding of the benefits of incorporating CSR into their operations. The Program was developed in three modules: 1) technical support, 2) regional dissemination of CSR principles, and 3) generation of the RSC Check List tool. This paper provides information on the development of the RSC Check List Tool and the reflections and learning of its application in companies in the region’s energy sector.
