The publication of Olade and PTB shows the main aspects that arise in the development of a Quality Infrastructure for energy efficiency programs

The publication Quality Infrastructure for Energy Efficiency Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean, is a document made jointly by the Latin American Energy Organization (Olade) and the National Metrology Institute of the Federal Republic of Germany (PTB), whose objective is to present the main aspects that arise when developing a Quality Infrastructure, which facilitates the promotion of energy efficiency in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, on a solid basis.

This publication is the result of more than seven years of work of two energy efficiency and renewable energy projects of PTB in collaboration with OAS, SIM, COPANT and IAAC, with the focus of underlining the importance of technical competence of the services of the Quality Infrastructure to successfully implement energy efficiency labeling programs and improve these services.
