Ministry officials carry out a technical mission in the Organization, from August 7 to 10, 2017 within the framework of the Implementation of the Energy Information System for Brazil developed by OLADE. The event is jointly developed with the Ministry of Mines and Energy of this country and has the financial support of the Latin American Development Bank (CAF).
This joint effort aims to review the progress in the implementation of the information system on issues related to system’s parameterization with the technical team of the two entities, as well as data loading, information transfer, and visualization of the results. It also seeks to verify the functionalities of the system, and the development of the prototype to be presented during the fourth quarter of this year.
This activity is carried out within the framework of the request made by the Federative Republic of Brazil to OLADE to support the systematization of the country’s energy information and to develop computer tools that contribute to the monitoring of the supply and quality of data, as well as its user-friendly access and publication.
