2019. Water resources are an important source of life for human beings. Among its numerous benefits, they allow the generation of clean electrical energy for a significant percentage of the LAC population. Therefore, it is essential to introduce an innovative methodology in the field of electrical planning that considers the effect of the increase in global temperature for different scenarios of concentration of GHG emissions on water resources. The IDB and OLADE offer this study that seeks to contribute to the integration of the climate change component in the medium and long-term energy planning processes. (Available only in Spanish)
