November 11, 2019, Lima-Peru. – Within the framework of the XLIX Meeting of Ministers of The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE), complying with the electoral instances for the position of Executive Secretary established in the Lima Agreement, Mr. Alfonso Blanco Bonilla was reelected as Executive Secretary for the 2020-2022 period. Uruguay presented the re-election candidacy that competed with a candidacy presented by the Government of Guatemala.
