The Inter-Secretariat Meeting of the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI) was held in Paris, the host city of the International Energy Agency, on January 23 and 24, event in which The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE) participated to coordinate the general development of the initiative, share the efforts made by the Organizations associated to JODI, promote the visibility of the data portal (https://www.jodidata.org/), outline the action plann 2020 – 2025 and coordinate training efforts.
The Director of Studies, Projects and Information of OLACDE, Andrés Schuschny and the consultant, David Delgado, were part of the assistant delegation. They deepened the links between Latin America and the Caribbean with other international organizations in the field of energy statistics, reinforcing OLACDE’s commitment to being part of JODI.
Joint Organizations Data Initiative -JODI
The objective of the JODI initiative, administered by the International Energy Forum (IEF), is to coordinate actions to maintain and improve the Energy Information System, available to everyone, with monthly statistics on gas and oil production and consumption (https: //www.jodidata.org/).
