CRITICAL MINERALS FOR ENERGY TRANSITIONS

    • – Initiate the study and analysis on the situation of critical minerals necessary for energy transitions.
      – Urge Member Countries to provide appropriate support, collection and submission of information
      – Deepen relations with the International Energy Agency (IEA) and other agencies on the issue of critical minerals for energy transitions.
      – Provide ministerial support to the Permanent Secretariat of OLADE for the development and implementation of actions aimed at deepening the entire value chain.

    • – Materialize the OEMLAC observatory
      – Technical support to Member Countries for the definition of roadmaps and reduction commitments

      – Design and operation of reporting and verification mechanisms
      – Support to oil companies and other related state-owned companies
      – Methodology standardization
      – Access to financing
      – Establish a relationship with the International Methane Emissions Observatory
      – Urge Member Countries to provide support in this regard and to send information
      – Identification of financial resources

      – Spaces for dissemination of good practices
      – Technical and financial resources for pilots.
