The results of the Energy Barometer of Latin America and the Caribbean 2020 are presented

In 2018, The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE) created the Energy Barometer of Latin America and the Caribbean, with the purpose of gathering the visions and perceptions of the various actors on issues of global and regional relevance to contribute to a greater knowledge about the state of opinion of the situation in the energy sector.

This year the initiative is reissued with the aim of monitoring the perception of the energy community in the region about the challenges of the energy sector in the post-pandemic. To do this, OLACDE prepared a survey that was disseminated between August and September of this year.

Results of this survey OLACDE produced a final report that is available to the community in general, on the Barometer website: http://barometro.OLACDE.org/

The purpose of this Report is to collect the visions and perceptions of the various actors, around issues of global and regional relevance to contribute to a greater understanding of the state of opinion on the situation of the energy sector. In this sense, OLACDE provides inputs for the formulation of energy policies to reactivate the economy and the energy sector.
