In the city of Sendai-Japan, on April 10, 11 and 12, 2019, the Latin American Energy Organization, Olade, through the specialist, Marcela Reinoso, participated in the 5th APEC Oil and Gas Security Network Forum (OGSN) and the 2nd Expert Group on Clean Fossil Energy, Oil & Gas Meeting (EGCFE).
Olade joined the team of experts in the two events, spaces where the profile of energy security for oil and gas in Latin America and the Caribbean was presented and comments were issued on the exercise of energy security developed in Chile by the specialist Marcela Reinoso. As part of a technical visit, attendees toured the Sendai gas plant, which focused on identifying the modifications made to infrastructure after the 2011 tsunami.
The OGSN forum aims to present the current state of energy security of oil and gas, while the EGCFE meeting shows the remarkable developments in the oil and gas issues of each of the economies that make up the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum APEC.
