Olade opens the call for nominations for the position of Executive Secretary for the period 2023-2025

The Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE) today June 15, 2022, in strict compliance with the provisions of the Lima Agreement, officially announces the call for nominations for the position of Executive Secretary for the period 2023-2025, which will be considered in the election scheduled for the LII Ordinary Meeting of Ministers to be held on December 15, 2022, in Panama City-Panama.

Given that there has already been a re-election in 2019, the current Executive Secretary, Alfonso Blanco, leaves his position in 2023 due to the fact that a new re-election cannot be held.

This call is strictly addressed to the energy ministries, secretariats or entities in charge of energy-related matters and chancelleries of the Member States of the Organization.

The new Executive Secretary will be elected for a period of three years, with the possibility of only one re-election.
