Olade launches a new series of publications entitled “Working Papers”

“Analysis of Technologies and Regulations for Efficient Public Lighting” is the title of the first publication with which Olade launches a new series of publications under the title “Working Papers”. The objective is to foster the exchange and dissemination of scientific, legal and contractual information among the technical and academic community of the Member Countries of the Agency, as well as to foster the development and dissemination of technologies, methodologies and their respective applications in energy-related activities.

The material that will feed this series of working documents will come from the implementation of the various projects that Olade has developed.

The publication “Analysis of Technologies and Regulations for Efficient Public Lighting ” describes the work carried out within the framework of the Energy Efficiency in Public Lighting Project for Central America. The activities that led to this document were funded by the Canadian Cooperation.

Throughout the document, the existing technologies for efficient street lighting wrere analysed and the experience of different countries was presented in relation to the technical and regulatory requirements established for the different components of street lighting systems.
