OLADE and ALAMOS establish a Strategic Alliance to Promote Sustainable Mobility in Latin America and the Caribbean.

On August 21, the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE) and the Latin American Association for Sustainable Mobility (ALAMOS) signed a Non-Exclusive Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement in the City of San José, Costa Rica, with the aim of promoting and developing sustainable mobility in Latin American and Caribbean countries.

ALAMOS, a non-profit civil association, works tirelessly to promote and foster sustainable mobility in the region, while OLADE, an international energy cooperation and technical advisory body, has played a fundamental role in promoting and integrating energy in Latin America and the Caribbean.

This agreement marks a milestone in the collaboration between these two entities committed to a cleaner and more sustainable future for the region. Priority areas of cooperation include mobility electrification, interoperable charging infrastructure, information exchange, and sustainable mobility education and training. In addition, emphasis is placed on the possibility of reaching specific agreements for the execution of specific projects in line with the objectives of both organizations.

This agreement stands as a platform for knowledge exchange, technical collaboration and joint promotion of initiatives that encourage the adoption of more sustainable forms of transport in the region.

Both parties look to the future with optimism and anticipate the positive impacts of this partnership in promoting more environmentally friendly mobility and strengthening energy resilience in Latin America and the Caribbean.
