FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR INTERINSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN OLADE AND THE URUGUAY CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY.

The Latin American Energy Organization – OLADE, and the Catholic University of Uruguay Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga – UCUDAL agreed to sign a Framework Agreement for Inter-institutional Cooperation in order to promote the development of technical capacities and training in energy issues for the Organization’s officials, and the staff from the entities of OLADE’s Member Countries.
The purpose of the Agreement is to establish joint collaboration bases for the development of training activities and tools, as well as the exchange of information and knowledge, including the implementation of academic actions, focused on the development and implementation of research programs and Dissemination of experiences, with emphasis on energy, among other related activities.
With its headquartered in Montevideo, UCUDAL is the oldest private university in Uruguay and the most geographically widespread.
The main joint activities to be carried out include: Cooperation for the design, structuring and development of research programs, training and other related academic activities including the completion of graduates, exchange of information and knowledge linked to the areas of interest of both institutions including access to databases; dissemination of results of projects and activities through publication and dissemination of documents, among others.
