A delegation from the National University of Loja visits the OLADE headquarters to enhance their knowledge on energy matters.

 

The headquarters of the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE) in Quito received a visit from a delegation from the National University of Loja (UNL). During this visit, a conference on “National Energy Balance and Energy Matrix” was held, given by the specialists Pablo Garcés and Fabio García, in which prominent representatives of both entities participated.

The event was opened by Gloria Alvarenga, OLADE’s Director of Integration, Access and Energy Security, who highlighted the organization’s ongoing commitment to support the training of professionals who drive initiatives to transform the energy sector in our countries, promoting processes with low greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The conference given by the specialists Pablo Garcés and Fabio García was an instance full of exchange and insight on the subject of the National Energy Balance and the Energy Matrix. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to gain key insights into the current energy situation, challenges and opportunities for the transition to more sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sources.

The delegation of the National University of Loja, composed of professors Thuesman Montaño, Freddy Morocho, Christian Ortega, and outstanding students, showed great interest and active participation in the conference. The visit to OLADE’s headquarters provided an invaluable opportunity to strengthen collaboration between both institutions and enhance knowledge on energy matters.
