The event brought together ministers and senior government officials, world-renowned speakers, technical representatives from state agencies related to electricity and renewable energy, local and international banks, law firms, investors, and both national and international media.<\/p>\n<p>During his presentation on the Energy Outlook of Latin America and the Caribbean 2025, Rebolledo emphasized that the region has an increasingly clean and diversified energy matrix, driven by the growth of renewable energies, regional electrical integration, and cooperation among countries.<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted that Latin America and the Caribbean have a hydroelectric generation potential of 676 GW and reaffirmed the region\u2019s leadership in biofuels, which account for 27% of global production. He also stressed the importance of strengthening the resilience of power systems, accelerating the adoption of new technologies such as energy storage and green hydrogen, and promoting policies that
