He also stressed key ongoing transformations:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Accelerated growth of electromobility and electrification of final energy consumption<br \/>\n\u2022 Advances in green hydrogen, energy storage, and grid digitalization<br \/>\n\u2022 Regional energy integration as a strategic pillar for security and sustainability<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe energy transition is an opportunity for sustainable development in our region,\u201d Rebolledo stated. \u201cWe are the greenest zone in global power generation\u2014a solution region, rich, diverse, and complementary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In that context, Chile\u2019s Minister of Energy, Diego Pardow, highlighted the country&#8217;s competitive edge in renewable energy development, noting that 70% of the electricity generated in Chile in 2024 came from clean sources. He also underscored Chile\u2019s robust institutional framework and unparalleled energy storage ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Rebolledo reiterated that the energy sector is currently the main source of
