Reflexiones desde Argentina con enfoque regional<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Desde el mes de marzo y con duraci\u00f3n desconocida, la pandemia provocada por el COVID-19 se ha instalado en los pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica Latina, trastocando el funcionamiento de los hogares, las escuelas, las empresas, los gobiernos y todas las organizaciones de la sociedad civil. Ante esta crisis sanitaria de magnitudes insospechadas por las generaciones presentes, a nivel global los gobernantes se han situado en distintos puntos de la balanza que tiene, sobre un platillo, la vida de las personas, y sobre el otro, la econom\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Ya con el foco puesto en nuestra regi\u00f3n, debido a la mayor inestabilidad e informalidad de la econom\u00eda que, en general, presentan los pa\u00edses latinoamericanos respecto de Europa o de Estados Unidos, podemos afirmar que -a medida que se prolongan las restricciones decretadas para lograr un aplanamiento de la curva de contagios- la dial\u00e9ctica salud-econom\u00eda se transforma, en especial para los sectores m\u00e1s vulnerables de la sociedad as\u00ed como para amplios conglomerados de la clase media de naturaleza cuentapropista, en una \u00fanica lucha por la subsistencia.<\/p>\n<p>Developed by:<\/p>\n<p>Griselda Lambertini<\/p>\n<p><strong>*The opinions expressed in this article correspond to the assessment of the author, therefore, they do not represent an institutional position of OLACDE, nor do they constitute a recommendation of the organization for decision making.
