[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The morning of this Tuesday May 7, 2019, in Punta Cana-Dominican Republic, the Executive Secretary of The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE), Alfonso Blanco and the President of the Ibero-American Association of Energy Regulatory Entities (ARIAE), Mr. Andr\u00e9 Pepitone da N\u00f3brega, signed an Inter-institutional Cooperation Agreement whose objective is to establish actions and mechanisms of joint collaboration for the development of activities and training tools, as well as the exchange of information and regulatory knowledge.<\/p>\n

This Agreement, between the two Organizations, establishes action axes for the coordinated development of projects, studies, events, training programs; as well as the exchange of information and regulatory knowledge, whose purpose will be the development and implementation of networks, renewable energies and energy markets; research programs and dissemination of experiences, with emphasis on energy regulation, among other activities.<\/p>\n

    Data on ARIAE<\/strong><\/p>\n

    ARIAE brings together 26 energy regulators in Ibero-America, including the Central American market regulator, the Regional Electricity Interconnection Commission (CRIE). ARIAE is a forum for communication and debate among specialists and professionals of the entities that comprise it, in order to promote the exchange of regulatory experiences, promote regulatory harmonization and share knowledge in the regulation of the energy sectors, training of personnel at all levels, and their exchange among partners; as well as promoting cooperation in activities of common interest, including in the fields of research and development.<\/p>\n
