 CHARACTERISTICS

  • This model is useful for multi-year electricity system planning studies, making it possible to analyze, optimize, simulate and develop hydrothermal power system expansion plans.

  • The system is divided in the following seven modules, making possible to obtain and analyze an optimum expansion plan:

    • Planning under Uncertainty Module
    • Hydro-thermal Module
    • Financial Module
    • Environmental Module
