The Advanced Study Program on Energy Integration and Planning – PIEPLAC- has been launched
Today, October 2nd, 2017 it was launched the Advanced Study Program on Energy Integration and Planning- PIEPLAC. This is an initiative of the organizations that share the vision of promoting a regional energy agenda: ALADI, ARPEL, ECLAC, CIER, OEA, OLADE and WEC. This program is carried out with funding from CAF.
The current political context requires national institutions, research centers, the private sector and regional organizations to combine all possible efforts to achieve mutual support among the countries of the region in order to strengthen regional strengths, which is a tool for sustainable development. Hence, in this first edition of PIEPLAC, governments, research centers,  private sector and regional organizations have been represented by 40 participants from 16 nationalities.
OLADE wishes all the participants all kinds of success in achieving the academic objectives, and in building networks of integration and planning professionals, in order to take advantage of all the tools that the regional organizations of the energy sector, organizers of PIEPLAC, have made available.
