Olade participated as part of the group of experts in the VI edition of the exercise of energy emergencies of APERC

The Energy Research Center of Asia and the Pacific (APERC) carries out the Exercise of Safety for Oil and Gas since 2013, on this occasion, on March 13 and 14, 2019, Chile hosted the VI edition of the exercises , with an active participation of officials of the public energy sector, high level representatives of the private sector and a panel of observers of the development of the exercises, of which Olade was part through the participation of the technical specialist Marcela Reinoso.

The proposed scenarios contemplated the severe affectation to the supply infrastructure of natural gas and derivatives, triggering the coordination and response protocols between the different actors of the sector.

These exercises are intended to help the economies of APERC, improving the response of policies and measures to face or resolve any magnitude of interruption of energy supply, depending on their respective internal conditions.

The panel of experts highlighted the high level of preparation of public officials and the willingness to cooperate of the private sector.
