THE III ORDINARY MEETING OF THE DIRECTIVE COMMITTEE OF OLADE WILL TAKE PLACE ON FEBRUARY 28 AND 29, 2008

On February 28 and 29, 2008 in Quito-Ecuador, the III Ordinary Meeting of the Directive Committee of OLADE will take place. CODI is the direction, follow up, analysis and evaluation body that analyzes the programs and strategy of the Organization.

It is made up of a representative of Argentina as the Chair and delegates from Brazil, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Venezuela as the Committee Members.

One of the objectives of this Meeting is the approval of the Organization’s triennial plan.

Furthermore, the delegates of the Countries will be informed about the activity report and the current situation of the Permanent Secretariat and CODI will follow up on the execution of the Ministerial Decisions established on November 30, 2007 during the XXXVIII Meeting of Ministers of OLADE seeking to achieve regional and sub-regional energy integration of Latin America and the Caribbean and the fulfillment of the Medellin Statement.
