OLADE OPENS VACANCY FOR SUB-REGIONAL COORDINATOR

The Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE) calls for applications to fill the position of Coordinator of the Sub-regional pilot office of OLADE in Central America. He/She will coordinate the actions of the Organization with Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.
The interested professionals shall meet the following prerequisites:
- Citizen of one of the Member States of Central America;
- A degree from a recognized university in Law, Engineering, Economics, Science, Business Administration, or any other degree related to energy;
- 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector, whether in public or private entities or companies and/or international agencies;
- Command of at least two of the Organization’s working languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese, French); and
- Not to have kinship with any Plant Official of the Permanent Secretariat within the fourth grade of consanguinity and/or second by marriage.
Candidates may route their applications through energy authorities of their country of origin or send them directly to the Permanent Secretariat within 8 working days due to the urgency of this matter.
Postulations will be received by the Permanent Secretariat until 17:30 on February 22, 2008 in a closed envelope sent by courier services or registered mail to the Finance and Administration Manager, Av.
