VIRTUAL TRAINING COURSE
USE OF NATIONAL ENERGY INFORMATION SYSTEM VERSION 3.0
Starting next February 22 to March 10, it will be carried out the training course on the use and applications of the National Energy Information System (SIEN), version 3.0, which will be primarily aimed at officials and government agencies in the energy sector, energy companies from public and private sector of Member Countries or Participant Country of OLADE. Private sector professionals are allowed to participate.
The course's main objective, is training on the methodology of energy balances preparation in terms of final energy, applied to the National Energy Information System – SIEN.
The development of national energy balances is an activity widely supported by the Organization who gives a great importance to the dissemination of methods of data collection and information management in an matrix of comparable supply, transformation and demand values of energy based on the laws of thermodynamics. This tool is widely used in the Member Countries and is useful for the planning and policy formulation task.
The course is scheduled to run 27 hours, 24 of which correspond to the virtual sessions (8 sessions of 3 hours each) and 3 hours for exercises and/or material study.
