OBJECTIVE |

The purpose of FIER 2007 (Regional Energy Integration Forum) is to provide a platform for debate and analysis, geared to fostering energy integration processes by subregions, legal frameworks and other energy relevant issues in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Topics to be covered during FIER 2007, meet Ministerial Decisions and Declarations emitted during OLADEs XXXVII Ministers Meeting and FIER 2006, as well as other current issues related to energy matters.

FIER 2007, will have an active participation of Ministries of Energy of Latin American and Caribbean countries.

During the Forum, bilateral and multilateral meetings will be promoted between government authorities, representatives of international institutions and executives of public and private energy companies.

Parallel to FIER 2007, CONCIER 2007 and FISE 2007 events will be held during the so-called "Energy Week of Latin America and the Caribbean", where more than 1,000 participants are expected to attend.
