The objectives of the event are the following:  present the current situation of Clean Development Mechanism (MDL) projects in execution and in the pipeline fostered by institutions and investors of Latin American and the Caribbean; promote priority projects in the Region and establish connections among project conductors, commercial entities and institutions demanding emission reduction certificates.

 The event is addressed to officials of Ministries of Energy, Environment, Forest Resources and Small Industry of Latin America and the Caribbean, project conductors of the private sector, intermediates of the carbon market and representatives of entities related to this field.
 
At the Forum, authorities and delegates of promotional organisms of projects of renewable energy, energy efficiency institutions, urban and industrial environmental management, emission reduction certificates buyers and design projects experts, will interact to asses and review the situation of carbon market transactions.
