The purpose of the Seminar is to present and discuss the experiences obtained in the energy market’s operation, emphasizing the level of competition obtained in Latin America and the Caribbean. In this regard, the lessons learned will be summarized in a regional report prepared by the consult team of the project "Competition in Energy Markets," which will be made available to the Countries.

The event will be held at the SHERATON Hotel & CONVENTION CENTER (Calle San Martin 1225, in Buenos Aires-Argentina) and is addressed to representatives of the Member Countries who are responsible for the energy markets operation in petroleum, derivative energy, natural gas and electricity; and other stakeholders involved in the mentioned sectors.
