“The First Regional Energy Integration Forum 2006 FIER” will be in Mexico DF. city, Mexico, on September 6-8, 2006.

The event is organized by the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE) and other Regional Organisms. Its objective is to debate and put down the foundations of the energy integration processes in the Latin American and Caribbean Region.

Experts in the energy area, representatives of regional organisms, private and state companies, regional and extra regional institutions will attend this event.

It will have the decisive presence of the Energy Ministers of the Region, who mainly are jeopardizing theirs attendance in order to promote the signature of the "Energy Letter of Latin America and the Caribbean countries", as well as the creation of a "Center of Arbitration and Conciliation specialized in Energy Subjects", essential elements to consolidate the process of regional integration.
