CURRENT STATUS Rural Electrification
 
On-going project in the Republic of Guatemala. By the end of September 2004, the diagnosis of the current situation in the rural sector was completed, and work is being done  to establish the ad-hoc advisory group, to organize the first meeting of the Multiparty Workshop, to select a remote rural community to implement 3 pilot power supply projects in support of full development of the community, and on the proposal for methodological criteria for including social aspects in energy projects.
