Description .-

Given the overriding need to ensure global and regional energy supply in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable, OLADE has established itself as one of its top priorities in its strategic planning long-term, visionary way to promote clean energy development, to through the implementation of programs and projects, which in turn pursue a clear objective.

Processes .-

Within the Coordination of Renewable Energy and Environment, OLADE has four key processes that are fed and continuously improved its annual and multiannual projects. These processes are in full accordance with the mission of OLADE. Continuous processes for the Coordination of Renewable Energy and Environment are:
Encouraging and promoting renewable energy.

Development of mitigation strategies and adaptation to climate change.
Prevention and mitigation of environmental impacts in the hydrocarbon and electricity sectors.
Knowledge transfer and networking.

Objective .-

Promote the development of renewable energy, technical support adaptation and mitigation strategies to address climate change and promote integrated environmental management in the development of infrastructure projects and energy production.
