Case studie. Based on four case studies, carried out in an equal number of Member Countries, lessons learned will by identified for energy markets operation, taking into consideration the causes that lead to the situations observed, as to protect consumers.
Each case study will end with a workshop among the major stakeholders of the country, in order to achieve a consensus in the report’s recommendations. The countries selected for the case studies are the following: Brazil, Chile, Peru and Trinidad & Tobago. At this time, May 2006, the case study in Peru and Chile ended and the study report and the lessons learned document are available in the Web site in the Documents Section. In the near future the report of Trinidad & Tobago will be available, too.
Lessons learned presentation: Regional Workshop (LAC). The case studies findings will be presented during a regional workshop scheduled February for 2007, with several stakeholders of the sector who will analyze the lessons learned.
Final proposal of lessons learned. Final regional lessons learned document, incorporating the results of the regional workshop, which will include the comments and observations of stakeholders of the sector.
